Applegarth

Six new flats are proposed on the site of a former house in West Kent. Two interlocking cubes of contrasting coloured brickwork combine to provide two flats at each floor level, which face south and west respectively. Balconies are carved out of the brick cubes to provide solar shading and to retain the privacy of neighbouring properties.
