West Lane

A full internal remodelling and refurbishment of a house in East Grinstead has added living space and bedrooms as well as a games room for our clients and their family. 

Previously, the entrance and hallway to the house was small and pokey; now it has been opened up and there is space in the hall for a feature staircase and even somewhere to sit.  This opening up of the internal space is also evident in the living spaces and kitchen, which are now open plan but in a way that creates a distinction between the individual rooms.  Upstairs there are now five larger bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a dressing room and a large family bathroom.  There is also a study and games room in the roof.

The clients also took the opportunity to reclad the house with timber and a crisp white render to modernise the external elevations in a modern arts and crafts style.
