Patterson Road
A single storey rear extension and internal reorganisation at the lower ground garden level has turned a former tiny kitchen, spearated from the rest of the house, into a much more attractive and efficient living space with level access directly into the garden.
The design of the roof with its long roof light and fully glazed front wall allows lots of natural light to flood into the space. The split level makes best use of the site topography and creates a light and airy living space, while the kitchen is both intimate and functional for our clients who love cooking.
Opening the bifold doors blurs the threshold between the garden and the house and allows internal and external spaces to function as a single entity.
